Wellbeing Program Elizabeth Street Primary School has a comprehensive Student Wellbeing Program. We have a designated Wellbeing Officer. The aim of our Student Wellbeing Program is to provide evidence based support to students and families so that they can maximise their experience at ESPS. In our team we have a designated Wellbeing Officer who provides on-the-spot support to students and long-term interventions. Our Principal and Teachers play a significant role in the Wellbeing of our students, as do the Education Department’s experts from the Student Support Services team. Other initiatives include our popular Breakfast club – run entirely by staff and parents who volunteer their time, our “Sensory Gardens” for students who benefit from movement breaks. We work closely with community agencies, charities and local businesses who all donate resources to provide the best outcomes for our students. We also run a friendship space in a designated indoor space during recess and lunch for students to develop their social skills.

The Primary School Nursing Program is a free service offered by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to all children attending primary schools and English Language Centre schools in Victoria. It is part of a range of health and support services for school students and their families. The aim of the program is to provide all Victorian children the opportunity to have a health assessment, to link children, families and school communities to services available in the community, and to provide information and advice that promotes health and wellbeing. The program offers parents:
• an assessment of any concerns you may have regarding your child’s health and well being to enable any problems to be identified early
• advice and information about your child’s health, and referral to other services if needed
• advice, information and support for families and school communities to promote the health and wellbeing of children and families.
Moe Primary School is located on the traditional land of the Gunaikurnai people. We pay our respect to the land this organisation stands on today. We bestow the same courtesy to all other First Peoples, past and present, who now reside in this region.
